Candle Care
Each Oak Street Co. candle is thoughtfully crafted to offer a refined, consistent burn. Proper care will ensure the best experience from first light to final burn.
The First Burn
Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface during the initial burn. This sets the foundation for an even, clean burn throughout the life of your candle.
Wick Maintenance
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch. For wood wicks, gently remove any charred wood to maintain a steady, elegant flame.
Burn with Intention
Burn your candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool completely before relighting to preserve the integrity of the vessel and wax.
Thoughtful Placement
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and surrounding objects. A well-placed candle ensures both safety and an optimal burn.
A Note on Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish before leaving the room or retiring for the evening.

A Final Note
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using a soy blend wax and natural wood wick. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and burn are to be expected—and are a reflection of its handcrafted nature.
